Dear Evelyn:

What do you think about your dad being way up here? I got here last night about 10 P.M. We got up this morn. & have been seeing the sights of N.Y. We hired a taxi this morning & spent about 4 hrs seeign the different things of interest. This town is plenty big & many very interesting things to be seen. We will be here until Friday morn. and will be back in Washington all day Fri and think we may get home Saturday late or Sun. morn. A Mr. Flippin of Nashville is giving this trip to us. Nothing more this time. Will tell you about trip first time I see you. Hope you get to come home Thanksgiving.
