I have been reading through the box of undated letters and notes that were mixed among Evelyn’s letters. I don’t quite know what to do with them, but I don’t want to ignore them.
I’ve sorted them into a rough order, based on the writers, and several are from around the time that she must have been solidifying her relationship with my grandfather. We have a typed letter from Willie V. Owen, and a letter from a Gene who must have just been jilted. Then a couple of letters from a Bernard. I’m typing these letters up as a group, and I’ll put them close together in the blog. I’ll leave it to the reader to determine exactly where they fit, based on previous and coming materials.
