About this blog...
In the spirit of the Julie/Julia thing, I'm archiving all my grandmother's letters in chronological order. These are mostly letters that were sent to her and kept by her from the 1920s to the 1970s.
If you want to start at the beginning, go to the earliest date in the blog archive. I wrote a small introduction and then posted the first two letters out of order (aaaaargh).
I'll add a little commentary here and there, but mostly the letters speak for themselves. When I have more information, I'll share it, but I'm discovering the content as I type it up.
Maybe someday I'll publish these in a more traditional format (I'm typing them all up in Word and saving them as well as posting them on this blog), but in the meantime, enjoy Evelyn in letters.
